Intro

Neocron City - Medicare Plaza Sector

Neocron is a First Person Shooter MMORPG with a Cyberpunk setting. Unlike other MMORPG (ie WoW, DAoC) the interface and controls are set up like in Unreal Tournament or System Shock.

Neocron is the original name of the game from the year 2002. At the current state the game is called Neocron Evolution 2.2 that follows the content Packs Neocron2 and Neocron Evolution 2.1.

Neocron: The base game where the City Admin fight the Twilight Guardian and various crime factions of the Neocron City. The City Mercs and the Fallen Angels factions where located in the wastelands in their bunkers. All factions fight for the produktion and research facilities in the Wastelands. Short before the release of Neocron2 the Dome of York faction was introduced.

Neocron2: A missile of unknown origin nukes the Twilight Guardian canyon hideout. The Dome of York is shaken by an giant explosion that kills allmost all inhabitant. Fallen Angels start to clean the Dome Sectors and all Anti City Factions settle there. The engine gets an small upgrade, new player models where introduced and the new city Dome of York open its gates to the nothern wasteland. All majout citys, bunkers and outposts are connectet to the hacknet, a kind of cyberspace where Players can capture Outposts and hack databases of different Faction Mainframes.
Neocron Evo2.1: The Developers added new weapon models and the wasteland get more dense wasteland vegetation.
Neocron Evo2.2: This is the balance update for Neocron with rework of all classes and skills. New armour and VHC where part of this Package.
